Physician Assistants
My Physician Assistants are an integral and essential part of my team. They are all highly trained with considerable orthopedic experience. I have complete faith in their abilities and in the knowledge that they will come directly to me with any questions they have. Their availability in the office allows patients to access “Team Thut” efficiently even if my schedule is full. They also are likely to be the first providers on my team who are available to answer your phone calls. My hope is that you will get to know at least one of them during your episode of care. I am lucky and proud to work with them.

Born and raised in Southern Maine, I grew up with a special interest in golf, sports, and staying active. After High School, I went to Franklin Pierce University where I studied Biology / Chemistry and played Golf. I graduated cum laude in 2008, and went directly to PA school at University of New England. I graduated in 2010 and immediately started working with Dr. Thut at Seacoast Orthopedics.
We have had a lot of evolution at the practice and that has enhanced the quality of care and patient experience. I feel lucky to be a part of such a great team, treating a broad scope of orthopedic issues, improving pain & function, and quality of life. We are fortunate that we have excellent leadership and technology here, that allows us to accurately diagnose and treat many common orthopedic issues accurately and expeditiously.
The Seacoast of NH has been a great area to settle down in. I love all four seasons and everything this area has to offer with beaches, mountains, parks, and restaurants. In my free time, I still enjoy golf- But, don't play as much as I used to as I am even happier spending time with my wife, two young kids, and our dog.

I am a Rhode Island native, but have lived and worked all around New England. I am now happy to call the NH seacoast home. With passions for skiing and days at the beach, the NH seacoast is a great place to be. I live with my wife, two kids and dog in Lee.
I graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2007 before heading to Ithaca, NY for my Master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences/Human Performance. I then worked for 8 years as an athletic trainer at the collegiate level, high school level, and in the physical therapy clinic setting. In 2017 I returned to school at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to get a second Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies. I joined Dr. Thut’s team in April, 2019.

I was born and raised in central Massachusetts where, in addition to playing sports, I developed a deep interest in the outdoors and my current passions; Fly-fishing, mountain/road biking, kayaking and hiking. I graduated from UNH where I studied environmental conservation and pre-med. After college, I spent four years in Breckenridge, CO, working as a fly-fishing guide and a medical assistant at a family and orthopedic practice. In 2014, I moved back east to attend PA school at Massachussetts College Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester and graduated in 2016. After graduation, I moved to Portsmouth and began practicing Orthopedics in Portland Maine, specializing in joint replacement and spine. After two and a half years in Maine, I decided to continue my career in orthopedics closer to home, and was very fortunate to have obtained a position at Seacoast Orthopedics, working with Dr. Thut’s team. Over the past 9 months, I have greatly enjoyed my time working with Dr. Thut, his team and caring for the patients of the area. I currently still live in Portsmouth, NH with my wife and love the variety the seacoast area has to offer in terms of outdoor activities and lifestyle.
